Impressionist Revolutions

From ridicule, to the world’s favourite art movement is quite a turnaround. The second half of the 19th century saw huge changes - technical, social and creative. The movement that became known as “Impressionism” developed out of these new developments We will trace how all these changes contributed and how it became a “doorway” through which the next generations passed, opening up new ways of painting.
